SCOTT VIOLA, PE, LEED® AP

Scott Viola is the owner and founder of Precision Construction Consulting.  After 29 years he
decided it was time to retire from the general construction side of the industry and do something different. As a GC Scott witnessed  the talent shortage firsthand and decided to offer his
experience in the industry as a consultant basis for preconstruction and construction management services.

 

He has always been interested in both the preconstruction and construction phases of projects. And considers himself very blessed to have had the
opportunity to work for a pure design build company for 5 years on the mainland, Hoffman Corporation in WI. They employed in house architects, structural engineers, interior designers, & MEP coordinators. As a Construction Manager with the company, he was
responsible for managing projects from award of design, through preconstruction, and the actual construction. Since these engagements approximately 20 years ago, he has been able to carry
this philosophy through to the current day. He has done minimal hard bid work in his career and has worked almost exclusively with design-assist and design-build delivery methods. For the last 15
years in Hawaii I was the preconstruction lead for Nordic PCL on many projects, managing most of them through to final construction.

Market Experience 

With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, half of which being in the Hawaii market. I've gained experience in various sectors including healthcare, residential, retirement living, banking, and education in addition to other commercial sectors.

As a skilled team builder, Scott has demonstrated the ability to identify the strengths of each team member, manage personality differences, delegate tasks effectively, and create a sense of unity and purpose among team members. These skills are essential for achieving project objectives and delivering high-quality results.
